2009 is almost over, a few days more and the year of the Tiger will be taking place. Many things happened this year from the flooding of catastrophic events to the emergence of heroes, yet we still live and face the new challenges in our life and live out resiliency. To begin with I will post a summary of the events that happened in my life this year 2009 (thank you ever so much cokegirl for the post's idea).
January- Back to school, lots of school works yet I am not so busy and this month gave me more sleeping time to enjoy.
February- Month of Love but this month is not so into me, yeah right no love life for me. This month was also my second promenade experience and my first as a senior high school student
March- Last part of the high school life, more on graduation practice, thesis paper submission and finalization.
April- My graduation in high school last April 2, 2009 was hybrid, half sad and half happy. Happy in the sense that at last I finished High school and I will soon be entering college life and sad in the sense that I will be leaving my classmates and my closest friends in high school. This was also the saddest month for my family and me because my Dad's father, or in short my grandpa passed away and he was my favorite grandpa.
May- A difficult month for me, aside from my grandfather's recent death. This month was also the turning point in my life from being a high school student into a college scholar. On this month I decided to take up BA Anthropology as my degree program because I find anthropology as an interesting course and it suits into my interests and dreams in life.
June- First day of classes in college and a lot of new challenges were experienced. I was introduced to my new course mates and new course teachers.
July-My hobby in blogging was stopped because of the adjustment I have to take and consider.
August- I entered the UP Mindanao table tennis varsity and enjoyed the team's company.
September- This month was busy because of the preparation I made for the final examination in my first semester.
October- Half of this month were tagged as hell week because of the incoming final examinations, luck me because I passed all of my subjects. This was also the month for my first semester break. My batch-mates, "the exuberant" arranged a reunion but I was ill-timed because I did not attend our reunion
November- Enrollment for the second semester, a very tiring one for me because of the long lines I have to wait for and the over buffering internet based clearance system I have to finish. This was also a fun month for me because I enrolled to new subjects and my major subject increased into two namely Linguistics 101 and Anthropology 181 (Social Anthropology).
December- The Yuletide Season, a month of love and sharing. We joined the UP Mindanao Alumni Association Pasiklaban and Parolan Festival. We placed second on the pasiklaban and never mind on the parolan. A two week Christmas break were also given to us, a good time to rest and prepare for the upcoming year of the tiger.

My 2009 Metro Manila Film Festival trailer craze
by Paragon Shirts | 7:02 AM in Movie Experiences, Proudly Pinoy | Any Reactions? (8)
Since last Monday I have been fascinated by the different movie trailers shown on my grand mother's cranky aged television. These movies are extraordinary because they are proudly made by Filipino film makers and they are of course, very competitive, not just locally but also internationally. These movies are expertly made by Philippine's mainstream connoisseur directors not to mention its award winning casts.
Here it is,the list of the 8 official entries to the 2009 Metro Manila Film Festival

ANG PANDAY (GMA Films and Imus Productions)

These 8 official entries of the MMFF (Metro Manila Film Festival) will be shown from December 25, 2009 to January 3, 2010 in Filipino cinemas. I wonder how long will I stay at the cinemas, maybe it would take me at least 10 hours to finish watching all of these faultless movies. As long as someone will care for my expenses, why not?

A movie entitled: Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs
by Paragon Shirts | 11:45 AM in Movie Experiences, Realizations | Any Reactions? (4)
Last night I've watched the Animated Movie "Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs" Directed by Phil Lord & Chris Miller, written by Judi Barrett & Ron Barrett and screen played by Phil Lord and Chris Miller which tells a tale about a young boy named Flint Lockwood who's struggling to make a difference and invent something that would perk up everyone's life, though always being bullied and ridiculed because of his invention's gaffe and errors.Flint Lockwood never stopped doing efforts to make a revolutionary break on his career.
The timeless tale has been adapted from Ron and Judi Barrett's book, which illustrates a world where giant burgers and pasta meatballs fall from the sky as a scientist tries to work out the problem of world hunger. However, things go horribly wrong when glut amounts of food surfeit cities and towns which resulted into a catastrophe. The story will also give you an idea about what a great fatherly love is though bitterness was always shown first. The movie is a faultless package of hilarious scenes and romantic love story between Sam Sparks (a non famous weather forecaster in America) and Flint Lockwood. These movie is indeed a great movie to watch with your family or alone.

I've watched this movie 1 month ago and it made me think, Is there really love? or its just a word and means nothing at all?I can't really understand the side of the girl on the story and I feel like all girls are cruel (sorry for the emotional upshot). Yeah, maybe it's just me over reacting with the plot of the story. She must have leaved the boy earlier or just ignore him in the first place so it won't generate a moral damage to the lad.For the record I wanna say the movie is really good and I suggest folks to watch it.
Childhood V.S Maturity (a dumb post)
by Paragon Shirts | 7:28 AM in Makarov Experiences, Makarov Tips, Realizations, Teen's Issues | Any Reactions? (2)
I just realized that I wanna go back to my younger days,jam-packed of adventures and remain as a child forever.Go back to those moments in which you won't think of deeper things and problems just play and enjoy.Compared to the present life today full of School tasks, Quiz, Reports, Assignments, Papers and Readings. Plus the many issues rampant on the country today. Adult life really sucks!
But being a child can be futile sometimes, Yes you can play anytime you want, you can enjoy everyday without worries;but you cant have a bigger and clearer view of the events present on the society today. I posted this one because today I had joined a lecture about Communism and its dire effects to us which made me think deeper of the real problem at hand. I have to weigh in my viewpoints about those things.
So much of those grown-up matters. But we can't deny the fact that our existence would really undergo aging and eventually be facing mature decisions. In other words go on living and face your problems don't be futile and dumb.

9 months had passed since my last blog post here at makarovtale.blogspot.com.I've missed so many things already, though the hiatus wasn't useless because it helped me adjust in my full-time duty as a college student. My passion for blogging has returned again and I just wanna say that Makarov Tale will be active again...
thanks to Sophie, Isabel, and Shobe(same person though) for giving me inspiration to blog again...
