Mindanao Bloggers Summit 2 and E-business week held at General Santos City

Last October 25, 2008 I woke up early because I'm excited what will happen on the Mindanao Bloggers Summit which will be held on that day. I'm kind of nervous because I know that I'll be meeting some new person not just persons but professional persons whom I'm sure had more experience on blogging than me. I went at the Venue together with my Classmates: Dioveth commonly known as PULL and Bien as bientot. (Never mind on their weird nicknames)

As we walked at the grand ball room, the place where the summit will be held. We saw People talking and chatting, some of them are having fun talking while laughing. We didn't enter immediately because It seems like Were the youngest among them and maybe we will be out of place. But when we take another look on the place, one man asked us "Bloggers?". I smiled and said yes. He said well you can enter now. After we entered on the venue Mr. Avelmar Manansala known as Bariles approached us and Shake hands with us he told us to register on the Computers now so we can the finish the process.

After completing our registration we gave our e-pass to the in charge and they gave us our MBS KIT.The kit is full of journals and magazines that shows the Simply Exceptional Beauty of Mindanao. After we finished the registration we looked for our table, and we saw Joanna Eve Ramos Our schoolmate we sat at the table where she is sitting.
After few minutes ate Ria Jose and Ms. Joana Banting talked to us and they ask us some friendly questions, the way they approached me, made me a positive impression. We Introduced our selves to them.

After 15 minutes the Summit started solemnly with a prayer and followed by The Singing of our national anthem.
The summit started with some messages given by the emcees (wow nice emcees good in punch lines and they are very humorous).

The summit has about 13 speakers all of them thought me lesson about blogging, the different types of blogging and ways to make our Mindanao the land of fulfillment. The best thing I learned are the words that came from Kuya Pierre Galo (The jester in exile ) he encouraged us that Mindanao has everything it got so It will be successful it only needs Better Interpretation and elaboration on the main reason why there is no total peace here at us. We must also let the people from the north and people from other countries know the in-depth of the conflicts in us. When we successfully do those things we can improve Mindanao and encourage more tourists, when we do this we make mindanao the land of fulfillment.

At the end of the first part of the summit the facilitator told us that we'll have a break and we will return at 6:30 pm for the sashimi night Bientot and I decided to go to KCC. At the entrance of the KCC we saw some new stalls. The stalls have something in common they are all concerned in networking, printing, all stuffs about computers and things behind it known as e-business.

At the end of the stall we saw a tarpaulin. The tarpaulin is about the e-business week and contest about e-business. We looked at it and we have seen different contest such as animation, poster making, I.T quiz bee, 3D CADD,Blog writing, programming and web designing contests.

I told Bien that we we'll join the Blog writing contest its an opportunity for us to develop our blogging skills. Not just Blogging skills but our writing skill as well.

After walking around the stalls and mall we decided to go back to the family country hotel for the sashimi night. We enjoyed the night we ate and laughed on the shows they prepared for us.

Waa. well that was really fun. All of those blogging tips and many more interesting things on the web. But you know, we will never forget the enlightenment Mr. bloggie inculcated in us. It is our inherited responsibility to help our beloved island! Go mindanao!
