I'm not familiar what kind of  feeling has struck the inner person in me but I'm definitely sure that this thing is not just a dilemma or a product of my hallucination. This unexpected thing on me started during last summer and to be honest, until now she is the sort of motivation/inspiration to me. I've never even expected that this thing will grow stronger and stronger as time goes by, because at start she was just really a friend to me and I believe that she feels the same way too.

It was a rainy afternoon, she was alone that time and me without nothing to do that afternoon decided to go and join her without hesitation. I don't know what occurred on her because she made most of the talking the whole afternoon which is opposite into what kind of person she is, you know the almost soundless type of  person who rarely talks so much on regular days and a bit of a mood swinger too. We talked for 3 to 4 hours and I never even notice that we were already  talking that long, maybe its because of the radiance her charming face and personality brings on me. She is more attractive the closer I look her . She shared much on her life that made me interested on her. She shared about her favorite sport, high school friends, childhood and a bit of her sad love story. I knew she was hurt before, judging from that sad story of hers and she can't move on with that tragedy. I know it is frank for me to say but I want to cure her sorrow. From that moment I was captivated and started to be interested with her.  As we became closer I begun to like her and eventually love her, but summer has ended she pronounced that she'll be gone and will enroll to a school far far from where I'm enrolling.  That moment was a punishment for me which I'm sure I can't and will never endure. I told myself that maybe this is really life and we were really meant to be separated.

Few weeks passed and a news came to me that she won't continue enrolling herself on that far far school anymore. An early  Happy ending you might say but this happy ending did not really happen. We enrolled on the same school but it seems like we were so far from each other. Sometimes I feel like I know her and sometimes It seems like I don't.We're definitely standing at the crossroad right now. What's going on between us?. Maybe I'm just so scared to tell her, so scared that the simple friendship which ignited all the thoughts will be gone. I don't know but as of now I'm only sure on one thing

I love her

Going to the market and dusty places while observing on an eventful urban city doing its routinely tasks, would be the most stressing activity one can ever think of. For me that would be challenging, in the sense that it is my first time to explore one of the busiest and most culturally diverse areas on Davao City. Lucky me because I was granted a chance to do these activities which I was already planning to do beforehand already and as a bonus I was auspicious enough to do the duty while incorporating  it with my studies, specifically for my major subject namely Anthropology 181(Social Anthropology).

The first stop was at the Bankerohan market and I went first at the vegetable section of the market, though at the start I was a bit anxious and disturbed because of the curious eyes looking all over me and my buddymates, maybe it was just because of the kind of clothing we chosed to wear that day which is I think a bit of eyesore for them. The market scene we've went into was just like another regular wet market you can see nearby. But one thing has caught my very first attention. The children there was playing Plants Versus Zombies on a what they call "Hulug-hulugan PisoVideo Game Machine" for me it was a bit surprising because it is really surprising to see that recently famous game there.

The clothes people wear there were clothes they can also buy around the other portions of the market, and most male vendors there are wearing one earings on its left ear. These earings were varied in terms of design and size. Most of their hairstlyes were exotic and unique, some managed to color their hair and made it look different compared to its original look. I've also observed a few men there who carry loads at their back bending their bodies and almost forming a right angle which I think was caused by the strenous loads they carry routinely everyday, some of what they carry are baskets full of squash and cabbage which I estimated weighing around 50 kilos and above in each basket.

A man carrying a heavy load on its tired back

There were also men who works on the garbage truck collecting waste coming from the market itself which spontanously pass and throw garbage on the truck for the duration of my observation there which lasted more than 45 minutes. The place was also not suitable for people with weak lungs because of the odorous aroma spreading all over the place which might put your stomach up side down.

a half naked man transferring garbage

men watching the garbage workers doing  their duty

a child left alone together with her goods at the entrance of the market's vegetable section

As we continue to explore and observe the environment of the market we've tried to cross the other side of the market through the overpass and I've seen people selling burloloys and fashion stuffs alongside the overpass. They were selling colorful kikay items in a cheap price. People with disability were placing themselves also on the overpass to gain advantage of the crowd crossing the overpass. Coal dealers are also intact on one place which serves as their territory for their products. One man asked me what are we doing at the market and murmured in himself that " Researcher mo dong? O nangampanya?.

The answer from me was just a polite nod and a few combination of polite words which would ease the curiosity of the perturbed man. So far the place was still bombarded with the same atmosphere causing the unacceptable odor of the vegetable section. At the end of the coal section of the market, a man which I assume as a local politician was introducing itself to the listening crowd while watching the politician and its colleagues I've noticed that they were also throwing curious looks on us, maybe bothered if ever we are spies (haha). Just as we continue walking I was shocked because I thought we were traversing the other other side of the market but on the contrary we were just really walking on a circular pattern. I mean walking on the market and circulating its territories.

the politician I've mentioned a while ago

  garbage collectors doing their duty
On these observations and few interviews I've focused mainly on what sorts and kinds of people deals and works on the market and the environment they primarily deal with. The people working on the market has still time for leisure and other amusing activities despite of the environment they live with. Their bodies might have already adapted  and managed to still continue usual activities in life despite of its seemingly lethal atmosphere of garbage and rotten vegetables. Another example to this was the body of the men who carry heavy loads on their backs, even without load their standard posture was already curved and bended which is dangerous to their safety because it might fracture their spinal cords but even so they still managed to do these difficult tasks and the way of living of these market people has adapted to where they are living and what sorts of work they do.

It was my first anthropology course week experience last week, and it was purely an enjoyment for me. Though I wasn't that active because of the other scholarly stuffs intervening with my copious schedule even so I still managed to do some "trickery trickery tricks"(nevermind that), for me to attend at least just the culmination day of our activity.

Everybody had enjoyed it, including the other courses who joined our activity. though others were saying that our activity was money driven(haha). It was money driven because our culmination activity's concept was titled "Perya Antropolohiya". What do you expect? Perya...of course money is essential for your enjoyment.haha. But of course their money won't be wasted because it will help for the betterment of our course specifically our course organization.

                                                                 3P's Piso, Plangana, Platito

The 3P's was adapted from a small perya we've observed at Mintal during its anniversary day. It's difficult to win on this game because the Piso will always slide and bounce off the Platito.haha. that was part of our tricks.

bunot bunot ****. I forgot the real name of this one.

We've gained so much income for our course because of the people's charity in helping our activity to be successful. By next year I hope that I can have more free time to help with our course activity and that the next one would be more successful compared to this year.

Its really difficult for me to update this blog since as of now I'm sealed with loads of scholarly stuffs, plus the burden of the midterm examinations and the field work stress for our final paper in social anthropology nonetheless It should be at my utmost awareness to update and keep this blog site dynamic as much as doable.

Oh, before I forget my main purpose for this blog post it should be better to start it by...Last monday (that would be January 18, 2010) Karen, me, charle, nassefh, doods, nes and patrick celebrated karen's late special "for very close friends only" birthday bash at karen's favorite beloved happy place namely "penongs-located at many branches around Davao city".

As usual karen was slightly, just slightly angry at me again because I'm always the not on time human being when it comes to time consciousness though I really have a sensible reason for coming late.Anyhow, by the instance we've arrived at the happy place we were so inexorably glad because it was the year's first bonding moment for me and my closest friends. We've sang the classical(haha) Happy birthday to you song and prayed before eating our chow.

caught in the act of eating
                                                                 while praying.lol

chow!

For the finale of the celebration we went to Jack's ridge to enjoy the view of the entire city, not to mention the nearest view just below it(hahah). As usual I'm the photographer I took pictures of them, just them. I've also incorporated my photo-shoot activity with the celebration, here are some of the pictures.

  Madayaw Davao!

The night ended with so much memories, priceless memories I think...another night that would be treasured until reminiscently possible. Happy Birthday Karen...wishing you all the preeminent things in life.

Back to school with lots of things to do and accomplish, yet we are still under the party mode spell of last year's holiday season. Last Tuesday (January 5, 2010) and Wednesday (January 6, 2010) me and my friends decided to go out for dinner and rock the Streets of Mintal, Davao City to exterminate the hex of the said  spell effect of the last season. We ate at the locally famous Chinese food station near the vicinity and sang our jolly and lovely songs at a  Small Videoke stall near the Mintal Public Market.

I ended up almost voiceless because of the songs till there was you, I, before I let you go and etc. Anyways we were all happy though were not on a  complete group that night...

This is my first post for the year 2010 and I'd like to start this by greeting you guys a Happy New Year. Tomorrow, I'll be back to school and it means I'll be soaked again with scholarly activities. Its time for me to bring my notebooks and books back into action.Whoa! No more enough sleeps and Uber leisure activities. I  have to apply pressure in my academics too, because of the childish deal I arranged with my friend. The 2 weeks break I have enjoyed was done through infusing my self with adobe photoshop cs4, bloghopping, blog template editing and amateugraphy (amateur photography).

  pictures I took last  December 30, 2009

By the way last December 30 was my 17th birthday and the birthday bash was held at a non famous beach owned by my Dad's friend. My family and relatives including me enjoyed the day by the different creative activities we have dipped ourselves into. The last two days Jan 2 and 3, 2010 was tiring for me because of the mild fever sickness I had caught, maybe It was caused by the Uber enjoyment action-packed stuffs I had.Yesterday, I also went to the mall to accompany my cousin and mother with their feminine shopping. I had also the chance to take pictures with their shopping trip.I'll just end this post with my photo-shots because I still have to pack my clothes and stuffs and tomorrow I'll be back to the dormitory

Year
2009 is almost over, a few days more and the year of the Tiger will be taking place. Many things happened this year from the flooding of catastrophic events to the emergence of heroes, yet we still live and face the new challenges in our life and live out resiliency. To begin with I will post a summary of the events that happened in my life this year 2009 (thank you ever so much cokegirl for the post's idea).
January- Back to school, lots of school works yet I am not so busy and this month gave me more sleeping time to enjoy.
February- Month of Love but this month is not so into me, yeah right no love life for me. This month was also my second promenade experience and my first as a senior high school student
March- Last part of the high school life, more on graduation practice, thesis paper submission and finalization.
April- My graduation in high school last April 2, 2009 was hybrid, half sad and half happy. Happy in the sense that at last I finished High school and I will soon be entering college life  and sad in the sense that I will be leaving my classmates and my closest friends in high school. This was also the saddest month for my family and me because my Dad's father, or in short my grandpa passed away and he was my favorite grandpa.
May- A difficult month for me, aside from my grandfather's recent death. This month was also the turning point in my life from being a high school student into a college scholar. On this month I decided to take up BA Anthropology as my degree program because I find anthropology as an interesting course and it suits into my interests and dreams in life.
June- First day of classes in college and a lot of new challenges were experienced. I was introduced to my new course mates and new course teachers.
July-My hobby in blogging was stopped because of the adjustment I have to take and consider.
August- I entered the UP Mindanao table tennis varsity and enjoyed the team's company.
September- This month was busy because of the preparation I made for the final examination in my first semester.
October- Half of this month were tagged as hell week because of the incoming final examinations, luck me because I passed all of my subjects. This was also the month for  my first semester break. My batch-mates, "the exuberant" arranged a reunion but I was ill-timed because I did not attend our reunion
November- Enrollment for the second semester, a very tiring one for me because of the long lines I have to wait for and the over buffering internet based clearance system I have to finish. This was also a fun month for me because I enrolled to new subjects and my major subject increased into two namely Linguistics 101 and Anthropology 181 (Social Anthropology).
December- The Yuletide Season, a month of love and sharing. We joined the UP Mindanao Alumni Association Pasiklaban and Parolan Festival. We placed second on the pasiklaban and never mind on the parolan. A two week Christmas break were also given to us, a good time to rest and prepare for the upcoming year of the tiger.
Yes!
Two days more and the year will be finally over. I hope the twenty ten will be a good year for me, us and everyone else on the planet. In behalf of the Makarov Tale (a diary of a young anthropologist) I would like to say Happy New year to everyone else on the blogosphere. May the 2010 be a good year for you.

Last night I've watched the Animated Movie "Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs" Directed by Phil Lord & Chris Miller, written by Judi Barrett & Ron Barrett and screen played by Phil Lord and Chris Miller which tells a  tale about a young boy named Flint Lockwood who's struggling to make a difference and invent something that would perk up everyone's life, though always being bullied and ridiculed because of his invention's gaffe and errors.Flint Lockwood never stopped doing efforts to make a revolutionary break on his career.

The timeless tale has been adapted from Ron and Judi Barrett's book, which illustrates a world where giant burgers and pasta meatballs fall from the sky as a scientist tries to work out the problem of world hunger. However, things go horribly wrong when glut amounts of food surfeit cities and towns which resulted into a catastrophe. The story will also give you an idea about what a great fatherly love is though bitterness was always shown first. The movie is a faultless package of hilarious scenes and romantic love story between Sam Sparks (a non famous weather forecaster in America) and Flint Lockwood. These movie is indeed a great movie to watch with your family or alone.

I've watched this movie 1 month ago and it made me think, Is there really love? or its just a word and means nothing at all?I can't really understand the side of the girl on the story and I feel like all girls are cruel (sorry for the emotional upshot). Yeah, maybe it's just me over reacting with the plot of the story. She must have leaved the boy earlier or just ignore him in the first place so it won't generate a moral damage to the lad.For the record I wanna say the movie is really good and I suggest folks to watch it.

photo's are taken from: SOURCE

I just realized that I wanna go back to my younger days,jam-packed of adventures and remain as a child forever.Go back to those moments in which you won't think of deeper things and problems just play and enjoy.Compared to the present life today full of School tasks, Quiz, Reports, Assignments, Papers and Readings. Plus the many issues rampant on the country today. Adult life really sucks!

But being a child can be futile sometimes, Yes you can play anytime you want, you can enjoy everyday without worries;but you cant have a bigger and clearer view of the events present on the society today. I posted this one because today I had joined a lecture about Communism and its dire effects to us which made me think deeper of the real problem at hand. I have to weigh in my viewpoints about those things.

So much of those grown-up matters. But we can't deny the fact that our existence would really undergo aging and eventually be facing mature decisions. In other words go on living and face your problems don't be futile and dumb.

Practice in graduation has been the reason why I was not posting new articles at my blog spot. Plus all the requirements and projects which utilized all of my time, and left no more time for my blog posting. On April 2, 2009 (Thursday) I'll be graduating from high school and will soon be leaving high school life. I will miss all the days of our bonding my precious and exchangeable classmates...I'll be soon entering college life and I'll be having Anthropology as my course. Soon be leaving General Santos City.

Here are the pictures of our bonding moments...

Here it is...my new guitar named "ninja"nevrie named after me myself and my friend. I don't know why my parents bought this new guitar of mine since I'm not a very good child and a unimpeccable obey er most probably. We'll I still wanna thank them again from the bottom of my Heart.

We'll sorry for the poor resolution of the picture we'll maybe I'll try to edit it the tomorrow.

I love spending time with it because I love singing (ALONE:D haha)
.
We'll I just wanna end this post quickly because I still wanna play with it now.
R and R

I was demented by the weather this past few days.(jeez so cold)The rain is always turning on and off and because of that I suffered from mild fever and cold. Thanks to my Daily dose of orange juice and Fern-C vitamins it minimized the sickness I'm feeling. The fever I was suffering was all causedby the few tricycle drivers on Barangay Lagao(just a few of them) and my negligence on bringing my raincoat. They didn't gave me a ride. I was standing on the neem tree soaked with water from the sky for 8 minutes. They just passed by on me and they are Ignoring my Signals on them. After the whole 8 minutes I decided to walk because there's no use of waiting for a ride I was wet already. I was angry with the tricycle drivers but I guess I can't blame other persons. It was all my fault my super negligence. (Yeah whatever I guess I learned another lesson from my imperfect adventure)

Lesson for me: Don't forget your stuffs and Don't wait Make your own move and keep moving forward!

Due to my lazy self

It was a lazy afternoon, the one which I am used to sleep and take a snooze.I was listening to the songs which i downloaded from my P.C's playlist to my phone, then suddenly footsteps break the monotony. My teacher on physics went inside our room with his strange black bag containing the Laptop. I was shocked, definetly shocked because I was reminisced that I and my happy friends Mr.Manlapig and Mr. Ablanido were the persons tasked to report the topic Thermodynamics. I was not expecting that we will report that day or should I say...We were not prepared, especially me. During the report I was not able to Explain my topic excelently nor clearly. I suck on my report that was the very word that keeps on repeating on my careless brain. However I didn't took that as a frustration, rather I made it as a lesson.

P.S Lesson Learned: Dont waste your time and always have a Plan B, whenever Worse Case Scenario comes. You'll always be ready.

The Cycle Stopped

Hey Bientot Get well soon, so sad your sick and confined in the hospital. Hope you'll get out of that hell place as soon as possible (just kidding its not really hell,I just call it as hell because I hate needles)

No class for ANSHS students because of the 16th Munato Festival, sounds good but not really. We'll gonna miss our lessons because of that, but the absence of class is not just for enjoyment. Its all about cleaning the school and Practicing for our songs. For me it would be 3-4 days of standing, sweat dropping and helping for the provincial sports meet and that means 4days of absence in blogging and internet too.

Cheer up boy its fun too because of the SUGARFREE concert and Joey Ayala Concert, minus the standing and sweat dropping (haha). Hope bientot can join on the provincial meet serving too. I missed him a lot. We'll its better for him to rest and relax.

I cant write for now. I just want to say goodbye to everyone and see you next week, I mean bloghopping with you next week.

I may not be your perfect student, I may not be your skillful and talented student, I may not be the student you wanted to have, but on my most sincere way I want to tell you how you've been a motivation and inspiration to all students you thought and molded.

I've learned lessons from you, not just lessons but values which throughout my life up to my grave I would remember and Cherish. One thing I admire with you is your patience. I could still remember the day wherein My friend and I made an accident due to our playfulness. You never screamed nor scolded us. You told us only our wrongdoings and how to avoid them.

You've been a role model, an ideal person which I know everyone else wants to be with

I want to say to ever body, that I'm proud and happy because you've been a part of my life. A part of my good memories that I could treasure forever.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Examination Week (A series of Adversities, Problems and Pain)

Next week will be our second periodical examinations and I'll be inactive in Blogging for series of days.
Examination week has been the most tiring and most arduous week for students like me. For me examination week is Purgatory for the reason that you dont know if you'll be in Hell or you'll be in Heaven. Examination week is also the best way to test the students skills and knowledge on lessons learned on school. We'll Good luck for me in our Exams, I'll do my best so that I'll have better Grades. KUdOOOOSSS!

Since I was a child I'm always fascinated of watching people who brings attache case with them not knowing what's their job,by the time when I was Grade 3 I realized that they are Lawyers, and on my young mind It made me decide that I want to be a Lawyer.

Since I was Grade 3 I always watch movies, soap operas and advertisements wherein Lawyers are involved. It was incalcated in my young mind that they are cool and Big persons in the society. Those stuffs I involved with, made my Dreams.

Now I am already fourth year high school and at this time I must decide my primary course for my stepping stone for being a Lawyer. For now I decided to have Politcal Science but many things are playing in my mind now.My family wants me to be a Lawyer that's their dream for me, but I haven't decided yet. Sometimes I want to be an Army,Engineer,Chemist or Doctor.

Right now I'm confused if I will still pursue my Dream since I was Young or I will change it and change my path in life. But One thing I know is that God will help me select my calling,a calling that will make my life complete.

Humour me 101

by Paragon Shirts | 5:41 AM in | Any Reactions? (0)

Is there a difference between the humour of men to the humour of women?

Men always laugh with their friends on green jokes or naming their friends or enemies....whereas women never laugh on green jokes rather they laugh with the gestures of people or the way they act, even their clothes and accesories

Are these differences made by self reservation?Does men have self reservation? Of course they have...but why? why? why there is a difference?

Big fish in an empty pond

When your a big fish you are considered to be powerful, controller of the society and sometimes greedy...You take control over the prices hoard products and even cut the supplies that's why the small fishes are quitting which may lead to suicide...Can you imagine this big fishes? once you take control over the prices and supplies you may kill the small fishes and when you kill them maybe sometime you will realize that you are alone and no one wil join you living...
